Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Lead IT Project Manager.
What you will do: The Lead IT Project Manager acts as the principle project manager for complex IT programs and projects. The role manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all project management relevant tasks in the assigned program or project, leads the project team by allocating and monitoring tasks, motivating staff, and providing individual performance data to resource managers for personal appraisals, and liaises with other managers within the IT function. The position utilizes standard PM processes and methods specifically for IT projects, ensures that project metrics and lessons learned are appropriately documented and communicated for the benefit of other staff and future projects, and helps to ensure the growth and success of project managers by providing training and mentoring in the established policies, processes and procedures, as well as PM tools and templates. Additionally, the Lead IT Project Manager manages project risks and issues and collects and assembles requirements and design documentation.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of information systems. Mid-range experience in IT. Experience in information security risk assessment. Experience in cyber security. PMP certification. Six-sigma certification preferred. SAP experience preferred.
