Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a world-class manufacturer of instruments for vehicles, agricultural, and construction equipment. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Customer Quality Engineer.

What you will do: The Customer Quality Engineer will be the voice of the customer, monitoring quality performance, while also planing/performing a variety of inspection, testing, and auditing of finished products, utilizing such data for improvements in products, processes, and/or systems. This role assists in the monitoring of inspection procedures including product inspection and testing, and qualitative/quantitative data analysis, as well as investigating and documenting deviations from prescribed standards of quality. Additionally, this position provides responses to customer concerns at different locations, supports customer events and launches activities, while also visiting customer plants for returns and coordinating shipments. The position tests each production/field part return/reject to identify new quality issues, may use test box, resistor box, multi-meter, oscilloscope or function generator. Also, the Customer Quality Engineer receives and tracks customer charge back part information for customer concerns, checks customer specific portals for quality and related bulletins, prepares/presents information during quality related meetings with the customers.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required. Current experience in customer relations within quality, with an emphasis in automotive technologies. The ability to travel, both international and domestic.
