Customer Quality Engineer I

Syracuse, New York – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a global leader in the automotive OEM space.   Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Customer Quality Engineer – Chrysler.

What you will do: This role will work directly with Chrysler, reviewing specifications for new products to determine performance requirements.  This position will  lead the customer quality function by implementing the AIAG defined APQP processes and participate in FMEA, DV, PV and process launch team . This role assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including training for ongoing improvements and work closely with customer representatives and insure that major customer complaints are resolved.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in customer quality  Experience with automotive quality-related activities such as SPC, DOE, FMEA.  Experience in an manufacturing engineering environment (thru-hole, SMT, final assembly, packaging).
