Livonia, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a Tier One supplier to the automotive industry. Our client is a stamped metal and assembly supplier. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Cost Estimating Manager.
What you will do: The Cost Estimating Manager is responsible for leading the processing and return of customers requests for production operation, as well as training and mentoring the estimating teams other members. The role coordinates with the engineering, finance, operations, program management, and sales teams on projects to ensure accurate estimates. The position utilizes previous industry experience to give technical direction and best practices on all projects. Additionally, the Cost Estimating Manager identifies and implements improvement activities to ensure continued best in class manufacturing practices.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Experience in cost estimating. Current experience in a leadership or management position within the automotive industry.
