Fort Wayne, Indiana – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Controls Technician in eastern Fort Wayne.
What you will do: The Controls Technician leads/coaches all skilled trade activity on the shift in order to optimize production of plant equipment. The position maintains manufacturing equipment and building facilities and supports all preventative maintenance programs, while also assisting technical services in machine repair, change over, set up and operation. The role performs all preventative maintenance requirements as scheduled, utilizes instructions, manuals, pre-established guidelines and forms to perform the functions of the job and recommends opportunities for improvement to internal systems. Additionally, the Controls Technician provides assistance to tasks as department manager deems necessary.
What you will need: Current experience in a controls technician role. Lean manufacturing knowledge. Experience with automation, robotic, and controls systems.
