Controls Engineer – Tier One

Detroit, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier to the automotive manufacturing industry and due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Technology Controls Engineer.

What you will do: The Technology Controls Engineer oversees operations and maintenance of fully automated suspension module alignment machines. The position monitors aligner throughput and alignment accuracy daily, analyzes alignment results of final assembled vehicles and make adjustments accordingly, and assists in improvement of equipment PMs. The role makes improvements to PLC ladder-logic control programs, assists in the development and installation of new alignment-related equipment, and performs special assignments as delegated.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming. Mechanical experience.
