Controls Engineer – Manufacturing Integration

Rochester Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Controls Project Engineer.

What you will do: The Controls Engineer designs/develops PLC programs to control automation systems, designs/develops user interface screens, and manages complex interactions between the system PLC, robots, and other equipment. The role leads the controls software team during project execution, trains less-experienced engineers, writes specifications as required for project. The position writes help documentation for end users, performs basic training of customer personnel, and travels to customer facility.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current controls engineering experience within a tier-one manufacturing company. Siemens Step 7 PLC skills. Experience working with powertrains. Ford Fast knowledge.
