Mesa, Arizona – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Controls Engineer.
What you will do: The Controls Engineer provides controls engineering support and process improvement work for high volume manufacturing lines. The role provides vendor management and supervision, manages machine controls for small projects, creates/maintains documents and/or databases with team support, and provides work to clerical support or unskilled labor. The position works with team members to resolve customer issues related to quality and design, resolves issues relative to the process and equipment and implements the required changes to production lines. Additionally, the Controls Engineer implements changes due to product changes.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems. Basic level programming of PLC, HMI, motion control systems and robots. Basic knowledge of computer systems. Ability to create electrical drawings using CAD software. German language skills a plus. Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens S7 PLC & HMI experience. Knowledge of motors and drives.
