Rochester Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Controls Engineer.
What you will do: The Controls Engineer specifies, develops, validates, and installs new equipment control systems. The role leads the electrical design, development, and improvement of manufacturing control systems and leads controls programmer. The position programs PLCs as well as other HMI software and leads engineering interfaces with supplying company, proofing programming and support. Additionally, the Controls Engineer leads controls programmer for our vision system implementations.
What you will need: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Experience in a manufacturing controls engineering role, preferably automotive. Electrical/pneumatic diagram experience. Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley RSLogix5000 PLC systems and FactoryTalkView HMI programming.
