Controls Engineer

Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Controls Engineer.

What you will do: The Controls Engineer works with automotive manufacturing controls and creates and maintains requirements documents, conducts and/or participates in design/architecture reviews, and supports software, firmware and hardware design and development activities. The position generates autocode using Embedded Coder or Targetlink and develops, integrates, tests, releases and maintains high-quality software.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in controls engineering. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering design in the field of industrial automation, troubleshooting and servicing. Experience with principle PLC manufacturers such as Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, or Siemens. Knowledge of electrical and safety design standards (NFPA, NEC, IEC/EN 62061, etc.).
