Controls Engineer

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Movement Search and Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a world leader in the power generation and water/wastewater treatment industries. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Distributed Controls Engineer.

What you will do: The Ovation Controls Development Engineer takes a key role in the design support, development, and delivery of a new combined-cycle and fossil power control optimization. The role is responsible for project management, budgeting and forecasting, for implementing optimization solutions, and for performing FATs (factory acceptance test) and SATs (site acceptance test). The position provides sales and marketing support, develops, tests and validates new strategies, and provides proposal support.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current controls experience.  Experience with Advanced Pattern Recognition.  Current experience in a power generation role. Knowledge of Ovation and Ovation controls. Familiarity with coal and fossil power plants. Ability to travel up to 25%.
