Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have recently opened a position for a Controls Technician.
What you will do: The Automation Technician oversees operations and maintenance of fully automated suspension module alignment machines. The role monitors aligner throughput and alignment accuracy of finished product, analyzing alignment results of final assembled vehicles and make adjustments accordingly. The position assists in improvement of equipment PMs, makes improvements to PLC ladder-logic control programs, and assists in the development and installation of new alignment-related equipment. Additionally, the Automation Technician performs special assignments as delegated.
What you will need: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Current experience in controls and PLC maintenance. Electrical training or journeyman’s certification is preferred. Experience with multi-axis robots, preferably ABB, Moto man and Fanuc.
