Newberry, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a construction supply company that services both residential and commercial markets. The company operates out of an orientated strand board mill built in 1999. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Manufacturing Control Technician.
What you will do: The Manufacturing Technician prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs, while performing not only emergency/unscheduled repairs and regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities, but also a variety of electrical, plumbing and carpentry functions. The role reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required repairs, maintenance and service, while then completing hot work permits. Additionally, the Technician implements design changes on programmable control and microprocessor-based process control equipment.
What you will need: Current maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment. Software to know: Control Logix programming, hardware, and firmware upgrades, RSLogix 5 programming, hardware, and firmware upgrades, Siemens S7 PLC software, Siemens Master Drives with vector and motion control, Cisco or Rockwell Software and hardware components such as Stratix switches.
