Continuous Improvement Manager - Manufacturing

Baltimore, Maryland Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a manufacturer of cooling systems and due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Manager of Continuous Improvement.

What you will do: The Manager of Continuous Improvement is responsible for developing a strategy for implementation of lean principles across all functions. The position establishes, implements, and communicates lean principles and the continuous improvement strategy globally, meets goals for Operational Excellence metrics in North America and globally, and meets financial cost reduction targets for labor productivity, material utilization, and overhead spending. The role leads the team that drives continuous improvement projects and maintains the Manufacturing Production System in North America, while also designing/implementing a global Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that supports and standardizes manufacturing strategy across all facilities. Additionally, the Manager of Continuous Improvement ensures that communication is coordinated and effective to all levels of the organization.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience creating and implementing lean principles in a plant-wide role. Experience in a managerial role within manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing production and information systems and systems implementation.
