Benton Harbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with an industry leader in the consumer products industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Product Manager – Consumer Insights.

What you will do: The Product Insights Manager translates business objectives into research strategies, helps create and fully execute research learning plans/priorities, employs a variety of methods and tools to inspire, educate and support. The role enables conversion from insights to action by building strong business and cross-functional relationships to become a critical component of the strategic business units, establishes strong, collaborative working relationships with external vendors/suppliers, and maximizes the relationships to produce actionable, clear and value-added output. The position acts as the “voice of the consumer” as a representative from ideation to commercialization and throughout every key touch-point of the consumer decision, provides a deep understanding of consumers’ lives and the relationship with brands to create/drive meaningful brand strategy, and defines consumer insights and unmet needs to help define ways in which to satisfy and exceed those needs. Additionally, the Product Insights Manager evaluates proposals and bids from appropriate research suppliers, manages projects according to timelines and budgets, and synthesizes data (e.g., attributes, transactional, behaviors, etc.) to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable strategies.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current consumer products experience. Current supervisory experience. Proficient in consumer modeling (e.g. drivers analysis, cluster analysis, etc, ccOPEX, and Six Sigma. Familiarity with syndicated market measurements data (panel, scanner). Social media experience (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) and other digital outputs for market research purpose.
