Raleigh, North Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national company that provides energy technologies and services to electric utilities and their large industrial, commercial, institutional and municipal customers. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Estimator on the western side of Raleigh.
What you will do: The Estimator performs full quantity survey and trade scope estimate(s) and performs conceptual project modeling. The role reviews specifications, drawings or customer requests to determine project scope, schedule, specifications and all delivery requirements. The position assists in the development of project charters and scope statements.
What you will need: . Experience in field or pre-construction design of electrical systems/infrastructure. Turnkey electrical solutions in micro grid, switchgear, power generation, power transmission and other critical infrastructure needs experience. Power system application and performance modeling is a plus. Experience with power analytics/MatLab. Strong Commercial and Industrial Electrical knowledge and estimating skills. Experience with construction management environments for heavy electrical and critical power projects. Sage Timberline or commercial estimating software experience a plus. Conceptual estimating skills a plus.
