Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leader in the tier one automotive space. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Director – Commercial Accounts.
What you will do: The Director – Commercial Accounts leads key account activities to establish effective customer relationships and meet business objectives, ROIC (return on investment capital) and margin targets. The position ensures customer managed effectively, maximizes contribution to OEM business as well as business strategy, develops/approves customer strategies in alignment with divisional strategy, and develops high level relationships at the customer and supports account teams in relationship building activity. The role leads account teams to achieve the customer strategy, tracks/oversees development of customer pricing strategies for account teams and customer specific planning and management processes to ensure customer needs are met, and oversees formal quotation submissions. Additionally, the Director – Commercial Accounts establishes processes for the review of customer proposals and VA/VE sharing across account teams, develops/maintains strategic, sustainable customer relationships, and supports the regions to deliver growth, margin, and ROIC objectives.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business. Advanced experience in manufacturing management. Advanced experience in commercial leadership, preferably in Tier 1 automotive. Current experience managing accounts with the OEM’s.
