Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world-class manufacturer of instruments for vehicles, agricultural, and construction equipment. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Commercial Account Manager.
What you will do: The Commercial Account Manager conducts/supports sales activities for current/new business programs and commercial activities for assigned accounts and is responsible for assisting and supporting strategies to win targeted new business opportunities. This role provides quotations and negotiates successful resolution of model year and engineering changes, while also managing profitability of assigned customer projects. This position is responsible for annual cost reductions and long term contracts and all negotiations to resolution for pricing related to material, labor, prototype/production tooling, prototyping samples, software, D&D, and testing. Further responsibilities of the Commercial Account Manager include preparing profit and loss projections for assigned customer business, managing customer project profitability including operating expenses, gathering customer and competitor intelligence information, assisting competitor information analysis, the incorporation of information into business plan and issuing/managing internal purchase order requests for prototype and production tooling, sample parts, ER&D, software, and testing.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in 4 year Business/Engineering. Current experience in automotive industry customer service (OEM or Tier-X). Current experience in account management role or supporting sales activities.
