Commercial Account Manager

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a world-class manufacturer of instruments for vehicles, agricultural, and construction equipment. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Commercial Account Manager.

What you will do: The Commercial Account Manager conducts sales activities for current and new business programs, leads commercial activities for assigned accounts, and provides quotations/negotiates successful resolution of new business opportunities. The role manages profitability of assigned customer projects, prepares profit and loss projections for assigned customer business, and coordinates company/customer cost improvement activities. The position gathers customer and competitor intelligence information, verifies cost/price, tooling, and D&D for current and future fiscal year sales budget/forecasts, and issues internal purchase order requests for prototype and production tooling, sample parts, ER&D, software, testing etc. Additionally, the Commercial Account Manager leads new and replacement business and engineering change quotations, prepares RFQ financial analysis, and negotiates resolution prices for material, labor, prototype/production tooling, proto samples, software, D&D, testing etc., with customer cost estimating group.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering. Automotive industry customer service experience. Current experience in sales account management. Experience with instrument clusters or electronic products is a plus.
