Orlando, Florida – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing, multi-national manufacturing client. Due to their growth they have a newly created role for a CNC Machine Operator.
What you will do: This role will independently read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences. This position will have specialized knowledge in the area of CNC grinding, llaser/EDM or general milling. The role will verify that operation setup, and parameters meet acceptable quality and engineering specifications for the operation being run. Interface with CNC controllers and their programming to load control media, work with others to assist in troubleshooting or improving operational performance, and change and monitor tool performance. This position is responsible for manually entering commands and adjust machine controls to correct malfunctions or out-of-control (SPC) machining. Follow specific Statistical process Control guidelines and procedures. Complete routine TPM and workplace daily workplace clean up as required.
What you will need: High school diploma or equivalent; Current experience in a machine operation role with CNC or Milling type equipment.
