Chip & Coolant Filtration Specialist

Sterling Heights, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with one of the US leaders in fluid power distribution. Based on their growth, they have a newly created position for a Chip & Coolant Filtration Specialist.

What you will do: The Chip & Coolant Filtration Specialist promotes the chip and coolant opportunities and generates revenue in the South East (NC, SC, and GA). The role develops/implements overall business strategies for the existing opportunities within the region, calls on accounts directly as well as works with the local account managers, and strengthens key supplier relations within the product areas. The position monitors market and industry developments as well as evaluates new markets, product development and synergies with intersecting products, channels, customers and competencies, while also interfacing with the current District, Regional and Marketing teams to expand the business segments throughout the organization. Additionally, the Chip & Coolant Filtration Specialist meets and works closely with key process groups such as Fabrication/Engineering, Customer Service, Purchasing and the Industrial Team, develops a comprehensive strategy for focusing on the Chip and Coolant market on a regional level which would includes identifying target markets and customers as well as identifying local account, district and regional managers, and participates in product training through weekly company training sessions, off hour self-study, customer site visits and several other training methods.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Engineering, Business, or Fluid Power or industrial related experience. Current experience and/or training in chip and coolant filtration. Experience in manufacturing.

Note: The Chip & Coolant Filtration Specialist must be located in the Sterling Heights, Michigan area for the course of the training period. The associate may relocate to the Sterling Heights area for the duration of the training period and then relocate back to territory for the training period or you may be located in Sterling Heights and then relocate to the Southeast.
