Capital Equipment National Sales Manager

Mansfield, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery    is working with an international player in process, engineering, consultation and process system supply. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a National Sales Manager.

What you will do: The National Sales Manager is responsible for securing profitable business opportunities, sells, renews and expands product agreements to both key and targeted customers to reach optimal sales and profit levels, and is responsible for meeting assigned product sales goals and objectives and maintaining accurate reporting. The role is responsible for preparation, submission, and presentation of quotations to customers, recommends product solutions, links to customer objectives, total value solutions, and competitive advantage to existing and potential customers, and differentiates product offerings from competitors based on the total benefit. The position possesses the instinct to ascertain and build relationships with key customer contacts, listens, probes and identifies concerns, understands customer’s business and speaks their language, and manages ongoing sales process and responds to and anticipates customer needs. Additionally, the National Sales Manager sells equipment into steel manufacturing facilities, owns commercial management through complete product life cycle from concept, quoting, program award, product development, launch, post–production performance, maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations, and manages a technical sales team consisting of company employees and technical consultants.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience quoting machinery for the steel manufacturing industry. Experience with industrial heating process equipment, preferably reheat and annealing for processing line furnaces. Experience with chemical surface treatment of stainless and carbon steel. Experience in technical sales involving thermal, industrial or mechanical processes in the steel industry.
