Cabling Project Manager

Denver, Clorado   – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a growing DataCom company with locations throughout the United States.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Project Manager for their Cabling division.

What you will do: The Datacom Project Manager  will be working on projects from the Rockies to the west coast, California to Oregon.     The position will be responsible for all phases of projects from design, permitting and construction.  This will be a highly autonomous role that will have significant independence and approves detailed project schedules ensuring  that all aspects of the project stay on track.  This role leads project meetings between customers, vendors, subcontractors and oversees all subcontractors, vendors and contractors.  

What you will need: A completed degree in electrical engineering or construction degrees preferred but not required. Experience providing cabling and cabling infrastructure to the cable television industry. Extensive experience in commercial electrical contractor project management and subcontractor management with current P&L responsibility.  Current responsibility managing a team. Experience in Broadband, Cable or Telecom with “design-build” of critical communications facilities, high-end commercial electrical/general construction, data center projects or similar work with a focus on electrical infrastructure including power upgrades.  Quantifiable experience managing projects from cradle to grave. Experience with installing/managing headends.
