Business Unit Manager - Controls

Round Rock, Texas Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national manufacturer of electric motors and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Business Unit Manager – Controls.

What you will do: The Business Unit Manager – Controls maintains overall responsibility for assigned business unit (drives and controls), including profitability, product management, budgeting, and business unit operations. The role creates sales projections and sets objectives for assigned business unit products, coordinates product management with field sales organization, research and development, engineering, and marketing, and develops/executes comprehensive strategic sales and marketing plans and programs for assigned business unit products. The position constructs/administers budget for assigned business unit, develops/maintains comprehensive controls application and technical service training schools for all assigned products, and directs subordinate managers and supervisors in operational issues, including resource allocation, personnel and employment decisions, and business priorities. Additionally, the Business Unit Manager – Controls keeps compliance with all company policies, including adherence to company ISO 9001 standards.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Advanced manufacturing management experience. Strong controls background. Experience hiring/training staff, maintaining a budget, and developing and executing manufacturing goals.
