Round Rock, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national manufacturer of electric motors and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Business Development Leader.
What you will do: The Business Development Leader drives the strategic planning process for the organization, researches/analyzes market trends and business performance metrics, and recommends/implements new strategies and programs to ensure that US operations achieve short and long term revenue growth goals. The role drives global business research, supports existing businesses with analysis and business planning to ensure the company’s continued growth and sustainability, and creates annual 5-year strategic marketing/sales plan including new product requirements. The position is responsible for conducting market and industry research, performing quantitative data analysis, developing insights, and creating supporting executive presentation materials on high pressure and short deadline projects, while also developing/implementing improvement strategies/programs. Additionally, the Business Development Leader assesses customer profitability, pricing and product mix versus competitors and adjust pricing or business models as appropriate, and drives customer retention.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering. Advanced experience in business development. Experience working internationally and across different cultures. Corporate strategy or consulting experience.
