Business Analyst - ERP

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs     is working a tier one supplier of automotive systems and due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Business Analyst – ERP.

What you will do: The Business Analyst – ERP is responsible for the day to day interaction with the ERP applications, internal user groups and external resources, for identifying solutions and continuous improvements in efficiency and productivity for our business, and for working directly with business process owners to review change requests as well as future reporting and functionality for alignment business requirements. The role executes the planning, analysis, design, configuration, development, integration, maintenance, system upgrades and enhancements associated with the implementation of manufacturing and inventory modules in ERP Systems, identifies/evaluates processes, interfaces and conversion risks, and develops controls to adequately mitigate the risks of the implementation, while also documenting the solution design and aiding in development and delivery of end-user training. The position assists in stabilizing, transitioning and/or supporting and sustaining the implemented solution as part of the IT NA Applications organization, analyzes business requirements and gaps not met by the existing systems/implementations, and identifies feasible solutions within ERP framework, estimating effort needed to meet those business requirements and gaps. Additionally, the Business Analyst implements solutions using ERP configuration, master data setup or code.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT. Current experience with ERP. QAD Application knowledge in manufacturing, distribution and finance. Experience working as a business analyst, providing end-user support, implementation support, systems training, systems design, and technical support of QAD SE2007 (eB2.1). Cyberquery and/or basic Progress query is a plus. QAD, APICS or PMP certifications. Experience in the automotive industry.
