Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Black Belt Engineer.
What you will do: The Black Belt Engineer determines root cause and drives corrective action implementation for warranty and Engineering (DFSS) issues. The role leads cross functional teams to diagnose and remedy technical problems and supports Six Sigma projects at supplier and plant locations (support of local CIP teams). The position interfaces with customers, suppliers and other interested parties, as needed, regarding projects.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in Automotive industry. Six Sigma Green Belt certification and willingness to learn and develop to a Black Belt level (Shainin/Red-X certification a plus). Ability to travel up to 25%.
