Bearings Engineer

Ann Arbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a 100-year-old company with a large footprint in the automotive tier-one space. Due to their growth, they have several newly created positions for a Bearings Engineer.

What you will do: The Bearings Engineer communicates with customers and documents customer product and project needs, identifies new product application, and communicates to design, coordinating with sales and marketing. The role performs technical calculations/evaluations of customer application requirement, administrates technical report requirements, and communicates with plants on customer needs. The position administrates cost reduction ideas and new designs, assists development engineers with evaluation of tested products, and administrates customer sample bearing request systems. Additionally, the Bearings Engineer provides project management information and supervision and evaluates customer requests for quotations.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Bearings or powertrain experience. Current experience in engineering within automotive manufacturing.
