Battery Management Systems Design Release Engineer

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Design Release Engineer.

What you will do: The Design Release Engineer is part of the product development team. The role develops/tracks project timing, project materials, and costs, creates the mechanical design and documentation, including feasibility studies and concept development, and coordinates internal resources. The position collaborates with purchasing and internal resources for build and assembly, hosts internal and external (customer) reviews/meetings, and acts as liaison with customer. Additionally, the Design Release Engineer maintains/updates issue resolution database, coordinates timely closures throughout prototype stage, transitions development projects to production team for awarded business, and supports internal and external integration/testing activities.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in design engineering. Working experience of product development cycles including concept development. Experience with automotive and battery systems.
