Automotive Quality Lab Supervisor

Champaign, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com    is working with a growing, diversified, publicly traded 40-year-old company that is a leading supplier to the commercial automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Quality Lab Supervisor.

What you will do: The Quality Lab Supervisor plans, coordinates, and directs all lab and gauge activities designed to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards. The role maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace and advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same. The position formulates and maintains objectives complementary to company and corporate policies and goals and reviews, prioritizes and supports quality lab and gauging related activities daily, ensuring the team stays on task. Additionally, the Quality Lab Supervisor interprets technical philosophy of lab and gauge equipment and software to key personnel and maintains a working knowledge of Quality activities, equipment, software, and industry test codes and standards.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in quality supervision. Experience in the automotive industry.
