Newnan, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Quality Engineer develops quality assurance for new launch phases including but not limited to managing program timing to meet goals and deadlines, helping develop processes through the development phase of a program, review and coordinate PPAP of products. This position not only facilitates technical reviews to establish risk and feasibility and defines risk but also performs risk assessments, defining and following up improvement activities. Additionally, the post performs regular APQP reviews and audits, monitoring action plans for improvement. This role also manages both complaints during the program phase and deviations during program phase, while ensuring implementation of error proofing solutions in the processes and monitoring the tooling, equipment timing, and progress.
What you will need: Current experience in tier-one automotive. APQP and quality audit experience. Current experience in a plant quality role.
