Automotive Project Manager

Terre Haute, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international, tier-one automotive supplier. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Project Manager.

What you will do: The Project Manager manages/coordinates capital investment and improvement projects for new business or upgrades. The role is responsible for new machines, including test equipment improvement projects, creates, maintains, and communicates project timing plans, and allocates all necessary resources for successful project completion. The position prepares/provides quotation information to CBU (including, but not limited to costs and timing), develops manufacturing concepts for new business or upgrades (from machine level to plant level), and provides project management for new business or upgrades, including budget and timing tracking. Additionally, the Project Manager confers with vendors to determine product specifications, arranges for the purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards, while also supporting continuous improvement projects such as scrap reduction, downtime reduction, output improvements, and PPLS.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in automotive manufacturing. Experience with automated assembly processes for automotive components. Experience in team oriented problem-solving. Experience in project management.
