Birmingham, Alabama – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Maintenance Manager, southwest of Birmingham.
What you will do: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating the administration of policies, programs, and procedures for all maintenance functions, repairs parts and stockroom maintenance, and is responsible for capital projects, OSHA and EPA compliance, contractor and vendor relations, and overall management of the maintenance department. The role guides both preventative and reactive maintenance, oversees operations of the plant’s primary utility equipment (boilers, AC equipment, electrical distribution systems, etc.), and ensures optimum supplies of repair parts are available as needed. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager prepares and submits capital projects, implements safety programs to comply with health and safety regulations, and communicates with external vendors, contractors, and supplier representatives when necessary.
What you will need: High School Diploma. Current experience in a maintenance management role. Experience with both reactive and preventative maintenance and electrical/mechanical systems.
