Birmingham, Alabama – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leader in the automotive Tier 1 space. Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for a Quality Manager that will have responsibility over this growing manufacturing facility.
What you will do: The Quality Manager is responsible for quality assurance and the environmental initiatives of the plant. The role identifies/proposes action plans for preventative and corrective actions, coordinates/executes audits concerning quality and environmental systems, and manages active projects from a quality perspective. The position organizes/maintains documentation regarding regulatory compliance, implements standards, and resolves all quality issues. Additionally, the Quality Manager is the customer contact concerning product quality and guides the actions of employees. This is a strategic role that will be part of the plant leadership team with responsibilities in annual budget development and periodic forecasting.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in a quality management/leadership role with an automotive Tier 1. Quantifiable experience implementing quality systems. Automotive interiors a huge plus.
