Automotive Electronics Software Developer

Auburn Hills, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a leading supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Electronics Software Developer.

What you will do: The Electronics Software Developer coordinates the creation of required documents, drawings and specifications, reviews schematics and conducts associated design reviews, and defines level of software in test samples, documentation and preparation of samples for internal and external use. The role actively participate in FMEAs, checks customer and supplier drawings/standards, and manages change requests (internally and externally), while also investigating/advising electronic product innovations. The position communicates/coordinates with the customer team and central functions, supports headquarters with all electronics related competitor activities as well as new technology (“benchmarking”), and controls all electronics software related test/prototype activities. Additionally, the Electronics Software Developer maintains test and prototype equipment for electronics as required, supervises trainees, and initiate activities to create HIPPA privacy awareness within the organization and implement privacy policies and procedures.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Software Engineering. Experience in electronics engineering and software applications (preferably in the automotive field). Experience in the understanding of the physics of moving systems and the control of motor actuated mechanical systems as it pertains to controlling them through software. Current experience in software development.
