Terre Haute, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery movementsearch.com is working with a global leader in the automotive OEM space. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Senior Quality Engineer.
What you will do: This role will work directly with Volkswagen reviewing specifications for new products to determine performance requirements. This position will lead the customer quality function by implementing the AIAG defined APQP processes and participate in FMEA, DV, PV and process launch team . This role assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including training for ongoing improvements and work closely with customer representatives and insure that major customer complaints are resolved.
What you will need: Must speak German and have previous experience with Volkswagen. Experience with automotive quality-related activities such as SPC, DOE, FMEA. Analytical problem solving, team building, and decision making skills. ASQC-CQE certificationBachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with five years experience in an electronics manufacturing engineering environment (thru-hole, SMT, final assembly, packaging).
