Highland Park, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of medical device products and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a automation equipment engineer.
What you will do: The Automation Equipment Engineer is the technical expert over new injection molding production lines and packaging lines. The role gains in-depth expertise on the equipment through extensive hands-on training on site at the automation supplier, participates in design reviews, DQ(Design Qualification), PFMEA, and executes FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ tests. The position participates in PQ, drafts SOP’s for machine operation and maintenance activities, and builds strong shift technician team. Additionally, the Equipment Engineer provides day-to-day production support, diagnoses machine problems and directs repair activities, while also supervising preventative maintenance activities.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience managing packaging and production equipment across a plant. High-speed automation experience with medical device experience preferred.
