Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a 10,000 employee tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Production Control Assistant Manager.
What you will do: The Production Control Assistant Manager coordinates CN implementation with all plants departments, collects daily production including production output, work hours, man-power, etc., and publishes weekly production reports for weekly staff meeting and bulletin board. The role manages CN part changes, participates in internal/external CN weekly meetings, tracks upcoming CN’s, and creates part numbers. The position maintains SAP production BOM’s, publishes daily materials cycle count reports and provides input in OEM Capacity management system. Additionally, the Production Control Assistant Manager generates continuous improvement ideas, participates in physical inventory and generates physical inventory summary reports.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering. Current experience in supply chain and production control. Familiarity with automotive OEM processes and systems. SAP experience.
