Our 50-year-old client is stable, growing and paid out their bonuses above 100% for the last 4 years and look to continue with strong growth. Because of this, they have a newly created position for a Program Manager.
What you will do: The Program Manager is responsible for managing new products and engineering changes for assigned products and customers to assure on-time and on budget program launches. The role assures on-time and on budget launches via the establishment and monitoring of program timelines, open issues matrixes, budgets and advanced program quality planning status sheets and leads new program APQP, and open issues meetings utilizing the appropriate TS 16949 procedures and work instructions. The position leads launch teams to execute flawless product launches, and ensures effective supplier performance in the launch process. Additionally, the Program Manager acts as a customer representative and communicates customer requirements to the organization.
What you need: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Current experience as a program manager within an automotive manufacturing environment. Mechanical assemblies and shifters, plastics, or stampings process knowledge. Solid understanding of timeline management. Knowledge of advanced product quality planning (APQP). Understanding of TS 16949 requirements. Understanding and working knowledge of OEM customer specific requirements.
