Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a leading supplier of electronic components to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created Advanced Quality Engineer.
What you will do: The Advanced Quality Engineer sets individual goals and objectives in assigned area of responsibility and creates the strategy for accomplishing under the direction of management. This position is also responsible for APQP for new product development, incorporating lessons learned into future designs and processes to prevent recurrence and leading the analysis and resolution of DV/PV non-conformance’s, and analyzing/reporting issues and risks to management in a timely manner to prevent larger issues. The role is responsible for Quality activities in APQP – DFMEA, PFMEA, & control plan preparation, developing QA matrix, is the customer liaison for APQP/PPAP/DV/PV/Customer launch issues, and facilitates problem-solving process for DV / PV open issues.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with automotive industry experience with focus on electro-mechanical products. Familiar with Problem Solving Tools/techniques. APQP/PPAP, Warranty, Statistical concept experience required. Familiar with customer APQP/PPAP systems and requirements.
