Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier to the automotive manufacturing industry and due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for an Applications Software Engineer – EPB.
What you will do: The Applications Software Engineer – EPB (Electric Parking Brake) leads/conducts customer level functional requirement analysis, conducts system level and vehicle level performance tests, and performs parameter calibration/modification. The role leads/conducts customer-specific software development, provides comprehensive support for system applications engineering role, and conducts customer level presentations and technical reviews. The position comprehends/leads execution of functional/technical safety requirements, executes interface and coordination between overseas divisions and North American OEMs in connection with functional safety development, and provides comprehensive support for systems applications engineering role.
What you will need: BS in Engineering. Brake control system, embedded software, and functional safety development experience.C/C++ language programming experience for embedded systems in Automotive. Experience in Graphical User Interface development preferably using Matlab. Experience with Vector Tools (CANape) and CAN protocol. Embedded systems development, including configuration management tools. Experience with electric motors (design, control, testing, modeling, etc.). Knowledge of ANSI C/MISRA rules for coding standards.
