Smithfield, North Carolina  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a national provider of power distribution services. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Applications Engineer west of Milwaukee.

What you will do: The Application Engineer drives the sales process, builds/maintains strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, and evaluates needs in the market by visiting customers. The position ensures customer satisfaction surveys are executed, analyzed and actioned, hosts customers during onsite visits, inclusive of tours, meals, product technical reviews and commercial negotiations, and develops/presents product and product training material. The role assists in the definition and communication of the value proposition of the product to the customer, defines and communicates product value propositions. Additionally, the Applications Engineer creates demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and value selling, collaborates, develops and implements annual territory plans in conjunction with Territory General Manager, and ensures achievement of established targets through metric tracking and application of continuous improvement methods.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Current experience in applications engineering. Experience with power distribution products.
