Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a world leader in the power generation and water/wastewater treatment industries. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Applications Engineer .
What you will do: The Applications Engineer will work with sales and engineering for DCS systems for power projects. This role receives customer inquiries and interpret customer specifications and requirements for technical proposals then coordinates site walk downs to review and develop project scope. This role will collaborate with customers to promote the companies capabilities and expertise.while applying expert process and product knowledge when preparing technical proposals. Develop best cost project cost estimates while minimizing technical risk.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in applications engineering. Knowledge of power generation and water treatment. Ability to travel up to 80%.
