Appliances Field Service Manager

Miami, Florida  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a world leader in durable consumer products.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an National Service Manager – Appliances provide after sales service support/coordination of spare parts for products sold for the Americas Region.

What you will do: The National Service Manager – Appliances provides technical support to service providers, service agents, dealers, and end-users for refrigerators and freezers. This position assists service and spare parts staff with parts related questions and will act as the liaison to the factories regarding spare parts shipments and service related matters. This position travels to customer locations to provide and provides support to dealers on installation inquiries and service documentation to service providers. The role monitors spare parts and accessory orders and shipments, consults with factories in the event of back orders, and communicates with providers. The position controls and approves monthly service and spare parts invoices from service providers. Additionally, the Technical Adviser sets processes and rules to plan, forecast and order parts timely and efficiently, monitors inventory and frequently inspects spare parts warehouse, and reads parts manuals and interprets schematics for internal and external customers.

What you will need: Ability to diagnose electronic and electrical systems and to read, interpret and utilize technical publications and service manuals. Refrigeration or appliance knowledge. Must be fluent in English and Spanish.  .  Mid-range experience as a service agent for household appliances and/or HVAC with pronounced skills in service and spare parts management. Must be able to travel up to 50 % of the time both domestically and through Central/South America.
