Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working a tier one supplier of automotive systems and due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for an Electrical CAD Designer – PCBs.
What you will do: The Electrical CAD Designer – PCBs is responsible for all levels of PCB development from prototype to production level, defining design rules in Altium and Xpedition tool chain, and supporting design for manufacturing. The role participates in strategic roadmap development and hardware/mechanical design review, develops new ADAS hardware designs to meet or exceed future customer requirements, regulations, and industry trends, and interfaces with a variety of groups including systems engineering, hardware engineering, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing. The position supports the development of test instrumentation or support hardware for product development purposes as well for mass production, performs layout using Altium Designer and Xpedition, and develops library footprint and decals according to data sheet and manufacturing requirements. Additionally, the Electrical CAD Designer – PCBs defines design rules for complex electronics design.
What you will need: Current experience in automotive design. Experience with the design of PCBs. CAD software ability using Altium and Xpedition.
