Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of automotive products and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for an Advanced Product Engineer – Electronics.
What you will do: The Advanced Product Engineer – Electronics works collaboratively within company and customers to define product requirements. The role positions company as a leading supplier in the automotive and medical industries, reviews request for quote (RFQ) packages for build opportunities, including the customer provided statement of work (SOW), CAD data, Gerber files, STP files, drawings, bills of materials (BOM’s), and product specifications, and identifies issues with customer information that will be a hurdle to quoting, such as missing, incomplete, and conflicting information. The position resolves information deficiencies, creates standardized BOM for use by the costing team when preparing customer quotations, and works with the cost estimating team to prepare quick turnaround engineering estimates as required.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Engineering for cost experience. Current experience with electronics.
