ADAS Technical Project Manager

Plymouth, Michigan  – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a international supplier of products to the industrial, automotive, aerospace, and commercial industries. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Project Manager – ADAS.

What you will do: The Project Manager – ADAS is responsible for technical project management for North American driver assistance projects focus on radar-based driver assistance systems. The role works with standard adaptive cruise control (ACC) and automatic emergency braking (AEB), as well as advanced functions like traffic jam assist (TJA) and highway assist (HWA), is the first point of contact as technical customer interface and engineering lead for customer projects, and is technical lead of engineering project teams (mostly software and application engineering, partially hardware engineering). The position ensures system development, validation and delivery, leads vehicle application/calibration/tuning of sensor-based algorithms both in vehicle and lab/offline environments, and performs project handling and project documentation according to specified processes. Additionally, the Project Manager – ADAS provides monthly reporting of project status to management in US and Germany and works package definition and tracking, release planning, resource planning, and quality assurance.

What you will need: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering, or related degree. Experience in technical project management within the automotive industry. Experience managing complex software and system architectures projects. Hands on vehicle networking and diagnostics expertise. Strong software engineering exposure/experience (C/C++).
