ADAS Algorithm Engineer

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs  is working with a leader in manufacturing equipment assemblies for the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Algorithm Engineer –  ADAS.

What you will do: The Algorithm Engineer –  ADAS is responsible for the development of Automated Driving system algorithms for the North American market. The role develops complete vehicle control systems, from the proof of concept phase through the first customer application, while also assuring the successful realization of project activities within the given time frame. The position develops active safety and automated driving situation analysis and interpretation algorithms, creates motion planning and control algorithms, and assists in the development of vehicle environmental models including the use of computer vision/image processing.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in algorithm development. Expertise with C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, and embedded control systems. Expertise in digital signal processing. Expertise in development of computer vision/image processing algorithms for embedded systems. Expertise in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. Exposure/experience in the automotive research and development field. Pronounced experience in vehicle control systems calibration.
