Benton Harbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an industry leader in the consumer products industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Manufacturing Accountant.
What you will do: The Manufacturing Accountant consolidates monthly forecasts and partner with business contacts to provide insight into risks and opportunities, provides monthly actual spend reporting including variance and trend analysis, and coordinates, prepares, and challenges the output of the annual planning process for budgets aligned with strategic cost initiatives. The position prepares reconciliation’s and identify enhancements to control environment, enforces US and Corporate policies and procedures, and initiates/implements process improvements focused on value creation, improved visibility to business drivers, and best in class practices. Additionally, the Accountant assist with projects and prepare ad hoc analysis to inform decision making, while also preparing quarterly revenue recognition cut-off entries.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. Current experience in accountancy within a manufacturing environment. Proficient with SAP Accounting and Reporting Systems.
