Account Manager - Tier One

Rochester Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery    is working with a manufacturer of assembly and test machinery for the automotive industry and due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for an Account Manager.

What you will do: The Account Manager presents various technologies for assembly and automation integration to both the engineering and purchasing communities, secures purchase orders for projects by aligning proposals with appropriate requirements, and assists customer with design criterion for various assembly operations. The role directs customer to the technology best suited for the project both in both cost and concept, lines up proposal engineering with data and RFQ information, maintains a good working rapport with existing customers, and grows relationships within the customer base. The position enters purchase orders into a company database system, works with program management for kick off and review meetings, assists in scheduling and participation in the customer run-off of a project, and assists in managing accounts receivable specific to a project/customer. Additionally, the Account Manager aids customers with broadcasting any issues/requirements to the appropriate department/person, assists customers with manufacturability and/or cost savings ideas, and participates in post machine shipment review internally.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Engineering/program management with sales experience in plastics or automation industry. Current experience in an account manager role within the tier-one automotive manufacturing industry. Experience hunting clientele.
